Terms of Service

By using Beacon, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Beacon is a personal CRM that helps you manage professional relationships. Features include contact management, interaction tracking, reminders, and optional coaching business tools.

We may modify or discontinue features at any time, though we'll try to give reasonable notice for significant changes.

You must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Not share your account with others

You're responsible for all activity under your account.

You agree not to:
- Use Beacon for anything illegal
- Upload malware or malicious content
- Attempt to access other users' data
- Abuse the service (excessive API calls, scraping, etc.)
- Use Beacon to spam or harass others

Violation may result in account termination.

You retain ownership of your data. By using Beacon, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your data as needed to provide the service.

You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to store any contact information you add (e.g., you have a legitimate relationship with those contacts).

Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
• You can cancel anytime from your settings
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
• If you sell products through Coach Hub, Stripe's terms apply to your customers

Beacon integrates with third-party services (Google, Stripe, etc.). These services have their own terms you must follow. We're not responsible for third-party service availability or changes.

Beacon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- That Beacon will meet all your needs
- The accuracy of any data synced from third parties

Use your judgment when relying on Beacon for important relationship management.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slow Works Ltd is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
- Damages exceeding the fees you've paid us in the past 12 months

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by English law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
